Our in-house star on the rise, Alanna Smit’s elegantly liveable interior designs feature on The Lifestyle Channel’s Love It Or List It (Foxtel) and in numerous design and lifestyle publications including House & Garden, Home Beautiful, The Grace Tales and Sunday Life. With a portfolio that spans modest-yet-beautiful renovations to full design and construction, Alanna typically works closely with her husband, master builder Mike Smit of Mike Smit Constructions. The pair are renowned for their meticulous execution, showcased across an impressive selection of homes in Sydney and the Southern Highlands.

When she’s not busy designing, filming, meeting with clients or overseeing the action on-site, Alanna can be found with Mike and their three children at their family’s rural retreat in Orange. She winds down by playing the piano with a fine glass of red and hosts a mean movie night, complete with outdoor cinema screen, fresh popcorn and arguably the world’s best-stocked and most photogenic bar-cart.
